5.  Helping a crying fashion student smile.

6.  An unexpected hug from a (female) coworker.

7.  Stumbling on an underground prayer ministry in existence where I work.

8.  Evading criticism (and even eliciting praise) from my Chinese instructor.

9.  An $8.99 Old Navy bag.
